It's quite a challenge to get a new site up and running (buildamovie) and especially getting your site integrated with the search engines. Seems like it's alot more work than ever before to get content and configuration files in sync. Being technical in nature I don't see too many issues other than waiting for Google and Yahoo to crawl the site. I can't imagine the little mom/pop shop having to deal with sitemap.xml files, authenticated files, analytics, PPC, and the rest just to have an internet presence.
Trial and error is all i'm left with at this point, no matter what you thought you knew..
